Xu Benzhang, member of the America Arts Research Institute, was born in Fuzhou, China. He graduated from the department of arts, Fujian Normal University. Xu focused on watercolor and acrylic painting. From the end of the 70s, Xu showed his special preference to acrylic transparent painting, and began his long and lonely exploration.  Xu developed a set of his special skills and theory. Xu’s acrylic transparent paintings have been exhibited and collected throughout Asia and abroad.
